Every dog that is adopted needs at least a bit of training. You want your dog to be a trusted and loved friend, but at the same time, you don’t want it to cause problems for the people around you. We have all been in that situation where we hear a neighbor’s dog barking when we are trying to get to bed at night and we just can’t stand it. The Idea
The remote dog collar is quite different from all the other training dog collars out there such as the electric dog collar or citronella dog collar. The biggest difference is that you control the collar yourself. Because of this, you can get much more focused training sessions than with the other types of collars, which work on their own while the dog wears them.

When you put the collar on the dog for the first time, you should check that the prongs are in contact with the dog’s neck or the collar won’t be effective.
If you think that the collar can hurt your dog, you can rest assured that it won’t. You have felt static electricity when you walk on a carpet and touch a steel doorknob, so you know that it just scares you, but doesn’t hurt you. Some owners consider it to be a form of cruelty, but unless you try it on yourself you will pretty much not be able to tell and not many owners are willing to do that.
